About Adapt

Company History

Adapt focuses on making products and content in the TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) world. The priority is marketing of the AdaptCap and the other apparel collections, but the heart the company is in product development. Taking existing concepts of content and products and modifying them to reflect my point of view is the main goal.

The name Adapt comes from the AdaptCap. I was trying to think of a cool name that fit the product. AdaptCap had a nice flow and meaning. The more I dwelled on the word "Adapt" the more it fit with what I want to do with the company. Adapt means "to make something suitable for new use or purpose; to modify". Like taking a simple cap design and modifying its parts to be modular. All the things we need are usually right in front of us, we just have to change our perspective and preconceived notions. We have to learn to Adapt. 

The Adapt Logo

The Adapt insignia is a crest centered in the middle of a shield. The symbols from outside to inside are a Shield, an Open Delta, and an Atom. The shield protects the future of the crest. An Open Delta shows openness to change or difference. The Atom in the center signifies matter. We cannot get to what matters with a closed mind. To get to what matters we must first be open to change or difference. Anything unfamiliar to you can be scary, do not let that stop you from starting the journey. Do not let fear stop you from growing.

We cannot change the matter at hand unless we first have an open mind and become open to change. Adapt is just a representation of the state in which we live today expressed through technology and design. Whatever the adversity may be Adapt will become the Flagship that carries this load to bridge the gap. Together we will Adapt to this world that has been given to us. Together we will Adapt our society.

The Adapt logo starts with the crest for the letter A. Lower case D shows a clock. The lower-case A with the yin yang symbol. The lower-case P with a crescent moon arch. Finally, a red cross for the lower-case T.

• A – The Open Delta symbol is to have an open to mind to change/difference that comes in life.
• D – The clock is set to 7 because in the Bible 7 is the number of completion or perfection in both the spiritual and the physical aspect.
• A – The Yin Yang symbol in the middle of the logo represents balance/equality in all things.
• P – The crescent moon is opposite of the clock as another revelation of time, but also the moon is one of the driving forces of energy on earth.
• T – The red cross signifies Jesus Christ (The Son|Sun; driving force of life; opposite of moon) and the blood He shed. It is also opposite of the Open Delta as a mirror, saying open your heart to Jesus.
